MONTHLY CLUB MEETINGS

MEETING LOCATION!

We meet the Second Monday of every month.
Meetings are held at a public library in Johnson County, KS.  We have to reserve the meeting room on a month to month basis, so the location may change.  You are welcome to come to our meeting, send the director an email asking where the meeting is to be and he'll let you know. You can click on the directors name at the bottom of the page to send an email.

There are many other activities planned each month, including trips and tours, rides to other chapters poker runs, charity rides, etc.

DINNER RIDES EVERY WEDNESDAY EVENING, April through October
Weekly dinner rides are held every Wednesday. Sometimes the destination is planned, other times it's a "mystery ride" to dinner. Meet at 6:30 pm in the parking lot of the Sears Grand, (formerly KMart) at 87th and I-435 in Lenexa, Kansas.

St. Joe Parkway tour.

Rick and Pam Dunaway, friends of the club, offered to lead us on a tour of the parks in St. Joe to see the trees changing color.

The weather was cool, but sunny and dry.  Some of us gathered at our normal gathering point, some met up with us along the way, Rick and Pam joined us at a stop in Weston.  We had 14 people on 14 bikes.

The first leg of the ride took us from Weston up 40 some miles of scenic back roads to King Hill for this picture, a short break and a look over the valley.

The second leg took us thru Krug Park, after a short break it was time to head to lunch.

Lunch was at one of the casino's by the river.  They had a nice buffet, lots of types of food, plenty of it.  I dont think anyone left hungry.  After lunch, we were done with our tour, some left on thier own, some of us rode together back toward home.  The ride home was nice, the weather had warmed up, had a bit of wind but it was a great day riding with friends.
